Frequently Asked Questions

Does AutoMonOP store my cloud provider credentials?

No. In strict compliance with ADR-0031, AutoMonOP uses delegated tokens, temporary introspection keys, and read-only monitoring scopes. No persistent API secrets or passwords are ever stored on disk.

How does the Node Agent affect system performance?

The AutoMonOP Node Agent is compiled as a lightweight native binary. It consumes less than 25MB of RAM and typically stays below 0.5% CPU utilization.

Can I deploy AutoMonOP on my own VPS?

Yes! Complete production deployment manifests for Docker Compose + Caddy on Hetzner CAX11 or any ARM64/AMD64 server are included in the repository.

What telemetry does AutoMonOP collect?

AutoMonOP uses cookieless Umami analytics (ADR-0038) for privacy-preserving usage metrics. We never track personally identifiable information or sell operational data.
